Our Family Story

My family restored a small riad in the medina — zellige tiles, a central courtyard fountain, and roof terraces where we drink mint tea at dusk while the call to prayer moves across the city. Three generations of us host together: my mother handles the kitchen, my brother guides guests through the souks, and I translate between languages and worlds. Marrakech can overwhelm first-time visitors. We help you navigate it with confidence — how to bargain kindly, where to find calm after a busy souk day, which foods are safe and delicious for newcomers. We want the medina to feel like a neighborhood, not a maze. Hospitality here is not a service industry tradition alone; it is a value. When you stay with us, you are under our roof, and that means something.

Why We Host

I studied tourism and saw too many travelers leave Morocco having only touched its surface. We host to create real encounters — language, food, faith, family — and to show Marrakech as a living city, not a backdrop.

Details

Check-in from 2pm. We meet guests at a main medina gate and walk you in — GPS is unreliable in the narrow lanes. Private room, shared bath, linens, towels, and WiFi included. Modest dress appreciated in shared family spaces. Checkout by 11am.
